One of the most prolific recording artists of the Rock & Roll Era, certainly the most successful saxophonist in popular music, Boot Randolph recorded 29 albums and played on hundreds of recordings by other artists as a session musician. This set contains every side he released for RCA between 1958, when he was discovered by the legendary Chet Atkins, and 1962. Includes his original recording of the now iconic Yakety Sax and it's accompanying album. In 1961, he moved to Monument Records, and the set includes his first four rare sides for the label. Most of this material has been unavailable for decades.
