Soul singer Bobby McClure has been credited with two gold singles, "Don't Mess Up A Good Thing" on Chess Records with Fontella Bass and "Peak Of Love"; but never an album until he met up with legendary soul producer Jerry Williams Jr. (aka Swamp Dogg). Williams wrote, produced and played keyboards on the sessions that gave birth to one of the greatest soul blues albums of the 1980's. Long out of print, McClure's "The Cherry LP" is finally available in the digital domain, newly remastered.
