Benedict Silberman was an important Jewish composer, conductor and singer from the Netherlands who made a series of historic recordings of traditional Jewish music and original compositions. In 1965 he won the prestigious Golden Harp, a Dutch award that recognizes musician's entire bodies of work. This classic album features Silberman and his orchestra at the height of their popularity. This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
