The Silver Trio brings together three composers of very different provenance and epoch for it's latest release on COVIELLO, which spans the spectrum from Viennese Classicism to Classical Modernism. All of them are three fascinatingly fresh early works, which the likewise still very young Austrian-Swiss trio knows how to realize with congenial youthful verve. "The Silver Trio" with Cäcilia Dorner (violin), Miriam Dorner (violoncello) and Stefan Man (piano) was founded in September 2018. Up until that point, everyone was very focused on solo music education. The enthusiasm for chamber music has always been there and the occasional involvement in chamber music and orchestral projects gave them positive impressions and experiences. They were particularly enthusiastic about making music in the piano trio, as there is a very diverse range of literature to choose from. So it came about that the three young musicians in their preparatory studies came together and were enthusiastic about the first sound experiences of this line-up after the first rehearsal.
