After many years inside the New York jazz scene, Cage Free - Free Range is pianist Jeremy Bacon's first piano trio recording. A prot'g' of pianist Don Pullen, he is also co-leader of the critically acclaimed group Big Train, a member of Joey "G-Clef" Cavaseno's great quartet, and is the pianist and musical director for renowned vocalist Queen Esther. He has recorded numerous times as a leader and as a sideman. With this trio debut, Jeremy presents two of his recent compositions as well as some new conceptions of beloved standards. For this project, he has chosen Thomson Kneeland on bass and Shawn Balthazor on drums, musicians he has worked with often for over 10 years.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
