Athena Andreadis' second album, 2012's Peeling Apples was originally released in the UK via EMI. Now available once again on Embraceable Records, this key album in her catalogue was the featured release in a successful charity fundraiser by Starbucks in Greece and Cyprus, a tip to her Anglo-Greek heritage as well as garnering acclaim throughout the UK on BBC and Absolute radio. A track was featured in the 2012 London Olympics campaign while others were utilized in both film and television worldwide. She was personally requested by Leonard Cohen to be afeatured vocalist on his final album. "Just listen to the voice - a fluty, soaring, intimate thing, pure as a Cycladian sky, but with an edge which gives it real emotional eloquence." BBC Music
