Anton Barbeau's "Glitch Wizard" is a densely layered psychedelic odyssey born from personal grief and altered states. Recorded in his farm-bound "Dark Mystery Temple" studio, this collection of psych-pop, krautrock and glitch-folk features an all-star cast including Dave Gregory (XTC), Andy Metcalfe (Soft Boys), and Donald Ross Skinner (Julian Cope). Several tracks were written at Barbeau's family home while his father smoked his final cigarettes in the next room, infusing the album with raw emotional power. The result is both sonically adventurous and deeply personal-a kaleidoscopic journey through darkness that somehow finds it's way toward light, packaged in a deluxe cardboard digifile.
