Three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Anderson.Paak returns with remixes to his politically charged track, "Lockdown", initially released on Juneteenth. The original track shines a light on the unfaltering issues in society including Covid-19, police brutality, and the racial injustices our country continues to face. Inspiration for the song followed.Paak's participation in a Los Angeles Black Lives Matter protest where peaceful protestors were being shot with rubber bullets by the police. The Dave Meyers directed visual for the song features a slew of familiar faces including Andra Day, Jay Rock, Syd, SIR, Dumbfounded and Dominic Fike. This latest remix bundle includes a Jay Rock remix from the official music video and a second remix featuring JID, Noname and a new verse from Jay Rock. In support of the movement, charitable contributions have been made to bail funds across LA, NY and Atlanta on behalf of the.Paak House Foundation.
