New York-based label Isotopia Records presents Solitude by Lemoyne Alexander, one of popular music's truly protean artists. The twelve songs on Solitude were written and sung by Alexander. Additionally, the album features contributions from singer Amari and celebrated sidemen, Dave Hadad and Poogie Bell on drums and Johnny Volmer, horns; otherwise all instruments are played by Alexander himself. For over twenty years Lemoyne Alexander has been in demand as a producer particularly of pop, rap and hip hop working with many leading artists in these genres. Throughout this time, he continued to hone his craft as a rock music songsmith and virtuoso electric guitarist. Solitude demonstrates Alexander's talents as a writer of rousing anthemic guitar-driven rock songs and his gifts as a multi-instrumentalist particularly his inventive and dazzling performances on the guitar.
