Last Hand is a song cycle in blues and roots style which tells the story of a May-December romance. It's Al Basile's 17th solo CD, and he sings these new songs of his with a keyboard trio backing him up drawn from the Duke Robillard Band who have been on his CDs going back ten years. Al wrote, arranged, and produced this project. It will have a 200 station radio promotional campaign by Todd Glazer Promotions, a four month publicity campaign by Mark Pucci Media, and print ads in Living Blues, Blues Music Magazine, and Blues Blast. Al says: "For the first time after forty years of recording and twenty of making my own records, I decided t add the producer's hat to my hatrack. This one's all on me - it was time.
