A huge influence on the development of hip-hop culture in the U.S. and one of the originators of break beat DJing, Afrika Bambaataa is respectfully known as the father of electro-funk. One track in particular, "Planet Rock," spawned an entire genre of "electro-boogie" rap and dance music that is still vibrant today. Presented here are the legendary 1998 remixes of the track including the original re-edit, radio edit, speed garage mix, DJ Kaylab club remix, O.R.G.A.N. remix and "Pure E Mix." All selections have been newly remastered.

This is a very good CD. I enjoy listing to music from the 50's 60's 70' and the 80's.
The CD is very good. I enjoy listing to music from the time I was growing up and while I was in the Air Force.
