Released in 2012, Aesop Rock's 6th studio album 'Skelethon' was significant to his career. 5 years had passed since his previous album 'None Shall Pass' and his former label had closed.
Entirely self-produced, 'Skelethon' was his first solo release on Rhymesayers Entertainment. The title of the album is a combination of "skeleton" and "telethon," a metaphor for a trying period for Aesop.
The 15 tracks explore themes such as death & distrust, insecurity & isolation, with humorous & hopeful moments.To celebrates its 10 year anniversary, it has been pressed on a special creme/black marble vinyl.
