The first disc comprises opera arias and songs with orchestra heard during the 3 days of the final in Bozar; the second CD includes the performances recorded in Flagey. The Korean baritone Taehan Kim, first prize, holds pride of place in the box set with most of his performances in the final and a large part of his programme in the semi-final and the first round. Second prize, the American contralto Jamsin White (also winner of the Audience Prize Prix Musiq3) is also well represented in a selection that reflects the diversity of her repertory, from Handel to Montsalvatge, through Mahler and Wagner. The soprano Julia Muzychenko-Greenhalgh, third prize, also shines in a programme on a par with her professional itinerary.
