Pairing a singer with a song had always been one of George's great talents. A case in point would be Linda Jones and the song \"Hypnotized\" that became a huge hit in the mid-1960's or being the first producer to record a soul group (The Escorts) behind bars (all the members were in prison). Fearless and adventurous, Kerr has remained a vital figure in soul music, particularly in New Jersey (his home turf) with successes in every decade since he started out. Over the years, the busy Mr. Kerr would find time to make his own solo albums which always reflected his love for great soul music.
